Most of Violet's childhood is unknown to her. Her earliest memories are being trained to be the perfect soldier for the Garlean Empire. The art of killing swiftly and uncaring was instilled in her from a young age. All she has known was killing, death and the scent of blood. Learning to hold a knife and use it was a skill she had before she knew how to read or write. She took a life before her tenth birthday.Being raised by Garleans, people unable to use magic or manipulate aether without technology, Violet was forced to enter a pact with a voidsent when she was young so she would have an advantage over the typical foot soldier. This pact gave her the powers of a reaper and made her able to use the voidsent's powers to empower her attacks.The young woman specialized in espionage and assassinating enemies of the Empire. She hunted them down from the shadows before swiftly descending on the target and ending their life silently. The main weapons she used for this was a sharp, deadly scythe she used for multiple targets and a pair of guns she used with expert skill.Being connected so closely to a voidsent as well as being so desensitized to war and death made Violet stoic to the point that barely anything could shake her anymore. Barely anything, however. Being a person still meant there was surely something deep down that could shake her.The cold, unmoving face of a beautiful young girl was the last thing seen by countless enemies of the Garlean Empire. Violet got the name 'Doll of the Empire' from how swiftly and coldly she would take a life if the emperor told her to do so. The problem with this came when the Final Days began and the Garlean Empire was no more. What is a weapon with no target? Lost and aimless, Violet is now on the hunt for a new purpose while taking jobs to kill targets of vengeance or lover's feuds or anything in between to still feel useful. How can she be an effective tool without someone to command and direct her with the firm hand of a commander?

This changed, however, when she was out, observing people in a bar in Thanalan. After speaking to someone for a while, she opened up about her wish to stop acting like a hard, uncaring soldier when a mysterious, powerful being overheard her saying that. The person, calling himself Chronos, used an undisclosed power to make her unable to do anything she didn't truly want to do.This made her not able to follow orders like she used to and Violet is now driven by wants instead of orders and needs. How this is playing out is unknown because it happened so recently in her life but surely it won't be anything good for her ambitions of being a good tool again.In the past few months in Eorzea she has been studying and becoming more familiar with the local people in this strange continent that has customs unlike the ones she grew up with. During this time she has joined a crime family in an attempt to be useful once again. There she met another former member of the Garlean military who has helped her adjust to this new way of living.With this advice given to her, Violet has started teaching herself to use her natural beauty to her advantage. She has learned the art of seducing people to convince them to do what she wants. This superiority she's learned to get from this seduction has given her what she's craved since she learned her place in Garlean society: people to follow and worship her. This newfound skill spoke to her conditioning in the Empire and she has begun using this to inflate her importance in many people's lives.
